About Ngaio Marsh

Dame Edith Ngaio Marsh DBE (1895–1982) was a New Zealand author and playwright. Marsh is known as one of the Queens of Crime, along with Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, and Margery Allingham. Her character Inspector Roderick Alleyn, a gentleman detective who works for the Metropolitan Police, was featured in all 33 of Marsh's novels, including one finished after her death.
